Bryant Park poetry opened it’s 2017 winter season at Kinokuniya New York with poets of McSweeny’s. Jesus Castillo and Emily Carr read from their books Remains and Whoever Has Let a Minotaur Enter Them. Emily Carr used audience participation during her presentation as well.
And due to unforeseen circumstances, two of the McSweeny’s poets were unable to make it, so Bryant Park’s Reading Room Coordinator, Paul Romero, held a book raffle for the audience with two lucky winners of the books that were read. Thank you to all the people who came out despite the rain and thank you Bryant Park for keeping culture at the forefront of community.
