Benjamin Boas is a published author.  Benjamin Boas is as cross cultural ambassador between Japan and the United States and he has some great stories to tell. Meet Benjamin here on November 4th and he might even give you some tips on playing Mah Jong.  


About the Author:
Benjamin Boas is the author of the Japanese-language books, Learning about Japan Through Manga and Video Games and Re-Learning English, both published by Shogakukan. A 10-year resident of Japan, Benjamin's essays have appeared in Japanese and English in The Japan Times, The Yomiuri Shimbun and Studio Ghibli's monthly magazine, Neppu. He currently serves as a global cultural ambassador for the Japanese government's "Cool Japan" program and Tourism Ambassador of Tokyo's Nakano Ward. Benjamin makes regular appearances on Japanese television, including NHK programs Tokyo Eye 2020 and Journeys in Japan. Originally hailing from the New York area, Benjamin first moved to Japan on a Fulbright Fellowship after graduating from Brown University.
