The Weirdish Wild Space : The 93rd Greatest Novel of All-Time

Our Hero has a philosophy, a way of life. The way of the eternal optimist. Part narcissistic delusion, part lovingly transcendent. He remains unflappable as he sails through a series of tragedies which would leave most humans in ruins. The death of his parents. The discovery of an unfaithful partner. Losing his job and even threats towards his own life. Our Hero embarks upon an absurdist chain of events before finding his one true quest in life: to touch Chloe’s calf. Chloe, a mute actress who remains elusive throughout. With a little help from You The Reader and his cousin Megan, Our Hero gets closer and closer to reaching his goal. Only Ben, the jealous BF of his ex GF discovers a letter and sets out on a binge of hatred towards Our Hero. The novel is also about the novel, about you being in it as you read it. There are metaphysical leaps of time and space and a thousand famous faces. A topsy-turvy world where the walls and pages of reality and fiction become mind-bendingly thin. We also meet Joe Cassius, a shy man and great mind who is about to unleash his humble masterpiece, which will eventually go on to become the 93rd Greatest Novel of All-Time.
