Celebrate the release of Hito no Katachi, the first collection of haiku by Popona Tsukino (winner of the 63rd Kadokawa Haiku Award) at Kinokuniya New York on 9/20 at 6pm! Drop by for the author talk, and get your copy of the haikyu collection autographed by Popona Tsukino!

About the author:

Popona Tsukino started writing haiku poems in 2002 in New York city and studied with one of the most prominent haiku masters, Tota Kaneko (1919-2018). She has won many prestigious haiku awards in Japan, such as the Kadokawa Haiku Award. In Japan, her haiku poems are featured in major magazines, journals, and exhibited in museums. In the US, she has been invited to recite her haiku in many events such as the International Mother Language Day gathering at the Permanent Mission. Follow her on Facebook, X, and Instagram!
