Kinokuniya Beaverton

Kinokuniya Beaverton is located seven miles west of downtown Portland, Oregon. Much anticipated by the local community, it opened within the spacious Uwajimaya Beaverton site in March, 1998.

As you enter Kinokuniya Beaverton, a newly expanded stationery and gift section welcomes you on the right side of the store. We carry many premium brands, high quality pens, notebooks and stationery from Japan for every kind of writer that loves to write. For artists and designers, we offer original supplies used in Japan such as brush pens, specialty paper, inks, sketchbooks and other tools.

In the gift section you can find unique gifts, presents and conversation pieces for friends and family. Among these are popular Japanese character goods from anime and manga, stuffed animals, picture books and more – Kinokuniya USA is an authorized retail partner of Studio Ghibli and carries Ghibli items that are not generally available in other stores in the United States. We also carry a selection of Japanese Blu-ray & DVD movies popular in Japan.

Turning to the left side of the store, you can find graphic novels, manga, art books, craft books, children's books and cookbooks both in Japanese and in English. We also carry Japanese language learning books as well as bilingual books (English and Japanese) to help learn the language. Japan is famous for its magazines and special showcase art books, and you can also find them here.
