Lights On. Flip the Page. Cue Imagination. is designed by Eunice Choi, the winner of Kinokuniya Tote Bag Design Contest 2017. The theme of the contest was “Reading Time” and was held on Instagram (@KinokuniyaUSA #kinotote2017) from July 1st to July 31st 2017.
The night is deep as the clock tower announces the beginning of reading time. The half open-eyed reader quickly falls under the spell of swirling sentiments and inspiration. Unexplainable magic occurs as the worlds within make-believe and reality collide to create a whimsical scene. A pile of books develops into a cityscape. The lamp above illuminates the streets like moonlight. The curious Russian Blue invites himself over to the awakened city. As the light brightens the reader flips the page and lets imagination run freely.
Eunice Choi
From Reno to South Korea, South Korea to Reno, Eunice Choi has been dipping her hands in the field of visual design for five years. She graduated with Art Degree from University of Nevada, Reno in 2013, and transformed her love for creating various fine art mediums towards a career in graphic design. Her passion for design drove her to constantly improve her skills and vision through various workshops and hands-on experiences. Eunice has a strong passion for illustration and photography as well as a high level of interest in branding. During her time in South Korea working as a freelance designer, she has entered numerous design contests who have honored her work with various awards.
