Third Supplement to Torrey

Clarence Torrey's New England Marriages Before 1700 indexed the geneaological literature citing New England marriages. Incorporating all of the information from the first two supplements and adding 80 percent of new material, this volume indexes some 6,000 new entries from the literature since Torrey's death in 1962. An effort has also been made to include marriages from previously neglected groups. Annotation (c) Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
