Upcoming years will see a new generation of teachers and thought come to the fore in political science. The four volumes of Political Science: Looking to the Future examine a wide range of prospects for the discipline's development. The first volume, The Theory and Practice of Political Science, includes essays by Donald M. Freeman, J. Donald Moon, Terence Ball, Kristen Renwick Monroe, Paul E. Johnson and Philip A. Schrodt, Virginia Sapiro, and Michael C. Dawson and Ernest J. Wilson III.
