Anne of Avonlea

The second book in Lucy Maud Montgomery's beloved "Anne" series, now available in an unabridged, paperback volume in Union Square and Co.'s Signature Editions series. First introduced in Anne of Green Gables as a young orphan, Lucy Maud Montgomery's feisty and imaginative heroine is now 16 years old and embarking on a brand-new adventure: becoming a teacher in her old Avonlea school. It's an exciting but challenging year as Anne struggles to win over her students, welcomes two new members to her family, and feels the first stirrings of love.
