DJ Phauxkis (pronounced “focus”) has been mixing beats for almost 2 decades. After cycling through monikers Enotech, Gaijin, Dervish & Ephem Kusuri, he landed on probably the most confusing & difficult-to-pronounce name. Cuz that’s how he rolls.
Bouncing between genres as frequently as possible, Phauxkis likes to create a soundscape rather than be the center of attention. Were it not for the obnoxious cat-ear headphones, you might not even know he’s there…
Preferred genres include Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Electro-Jazz & Bossanova, but having played weddings & corporate gigs for years, he’s not above mixing Country with Metal.
