We import Japanese books upon receiving online orders.
For urgent requests, please contact your nearest store to inquire about their in-store stock, and our staff will be happy to check the item availability.

Currently, we do not sell Japanese magazines at our Online Store. Instead, we take orders via email. Please contact us and let us know the titles and issues of the magazines you’d like to purchase.

We offer free in-store pickup at our Kinokuniya USA locations.
There will be no shipping fee applied.
You can choose the store locations when checking out your online orders.
*Please note that the online store does not offer an option to use gift cards for in-store pick-up orders. If you would like to use a Kinokuniya Gift Card to pay for your in-store pickup orders, contact the store directly, and our store staff will help you to order and apply the gift card towards your payment.
Shipping within the U.S.
Free Shipping on $50+ orders
Orders totaling more than $50 ( before tax) qualify for Free Shipping within the United States.
In the event that your order’s cost drops below $50 due to the cancellation of unavailable items, your order will still be eligible for free shipping.
Standard $8 Shipping Fee
An $8 shipping fee is applied to orders totaling under $50 (before tax).
Express Shipping is possible at the customer's expense. Costs may vary.

Items may be dispatched from different locations and arrive separately since we have several fulfillment center locations. Even if you receive multiple packages for one order, your delivery fee will remain the same.
Re-shipping fees will be charged on any shipment that needs to be re-shipped as a result of a customer providing an incorrect shipping address at the time of checkout.
We currently do not offer the service to ship items from one order to multiple addresses.

Delivery charges for international shipping depend on the number of items and the country of destination.
The customer is responsible for all charges, including customs, re-shipping, and any extra fees due to country regulations.

The fastest method is to purchase from in-store stock at our physical stores. Please contact our stores directly for book availability.

Return Policies for Online Store Purchase

Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of purchase.
All returned items must be in original condition; shrink-wrapped products must be unopened and tags must be attached.
Blind box items cannot be exchanged or returned.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Products must be returned to the designated warehouse/office at customer's expense.
Kinokuniya USA reserves the right to decline exchange or return requests if the product has been used, opened, or in question.
