In response to the evolving global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we will temporarily close our Kinokuniya USA and Mai Do stores in New York and Los Angeles area from March 20. All remaining locations will temporarily close from March 21. These closures will remain until further notice.

Kinokuniya Austin is finally having its soft opening! Not everything is set but we will open from 11am to 8 pm every day.
We are excited to bring our Kinokuniya store to the Capital of the state of Texas, Austin! Its population is approximately 700,000, making it is the 11th-most populous city in the United States. In this growing city, we are planning on opening our 12th store in April 2018.

We opened the doors to our Texas Carrollton store on December 30, 2016. Not everything is set and we still have a lot of work to do, but come in and see what we have so far.

Texas, a state that is rich in resources and many major corporations, has been showing remarkable growth in recent times. In this growing state, we will open two new stores in the suburbs of Texas; Carrollton and Plano. We plan to open the Carrollton store in February of 2017 and the Plano store in March of 2017. These two store will be our 11th and 12th store in the U.S.
